Have you ever felt strongly that there has to be something more to your life? That your life needs to have more meaning and purpose?
Are you an empty nester, had a job change or retired, lost a loved one, had significant health changes, or just feeling that life as you knew it has changed and what is your purpose now?
If any of these questions have crossed your mind, we invite you to consider this special opportunity to journey with other like-minded participants in a serious quest to dive into this creative development stage of life. It will provide tools to help you become centered in discovering your authentic self and God’s desire for you in the second stage of life.
We will use mythology, story sharing, scripture, poetry, literature, film, art, and music to explore aging throughout the times. Our time together will allow for contemplative dialogue and reflection, small group discussion, prayer, and journaling, all while rediscovering all of God’s creations and our interconnectedness to everything.
Parishioner and leader Beth Letizia will facilitate this three monthly-session journey. Gatherings will take place on Saturdays, from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm. on April 29, May 20, and June 10. The cost is $150 for the three sessions and will include lunch, materials, and an outdoor experience.
This program will be limited to 20 participants to protect the sacredness of the contemplative dialogue.
