As many of you remember, on a rainy Saturday morning this past April, 80 participants from 12 different parishes gathered in our Parish Hall to experience the Everyday Apostles Workshop. Parishioners Dan Balogh & Debby Kispert, with inspiration from the Holy Spirit, presented an engaging and uplifting workshop on evangelization. Dan & Debby spent a year reading countless books and participating in several evangelization courses. The goal of the workshop was for the participants to leave better equipped to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission, that is, to make disciples of all nations.
Here is the way Dan & Debby describe what to expect from the workshop:
“Do you know someone whose life would be better if Jesus was in it? Do you struggle with how to share your faith in different situations? In this workshop, we will learn why it’s important to share our faith with others, the many difficulties we Catholics have in doing so, and ways to overcome these difficulties. We will learn how to more easily share our faith with those closest to us: our family, friends, and co-workers. Jesus told us to go and make disciples. Let’s learn how to do this in a fun and interactive way!”
We know some parishioners at Notre Dame expressed an interest in attending the April workshop. However, because of conflicts in schedules, they could not join us. We invite all of you and many more to SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 8:30 am – 12 noon at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ. Registration details will follow as we get closer to Labor Day.
