Congratulations to our RCIA Candidates

At the Easter Vigil, our RCIA candidates were welcomed as full members into the Church. Congratulations to Bruce Gallagher, James Hettesheimer, Cheryl Kotelsky, Kim Corcoran, Jessica Grasso, Patthira Chang, and John Chang. Please keep each in your prayers as they continue their spiritual journeys. Many blessing to all!
What is RCIA?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the spiritual journey through which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church, while growing in deeper relationship with God in the company of the entire faith community. The program is open to anyone, 16 or over, who has not received one, two or all three of the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Eucharist (Communion) or Confirmation.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to assist, support and walk alongside our participants as they journey through the RCIA process. This involves helping our participants become familiar with Catholic teachings and practices, preparing them to receive the Sacraments of Baptism and/or Confirmation and Holy Eucharist, and getting them acquainted with their parish family. An important part of the journey is also encouraging participants to get involved in service through ministry as a means of furthering our parish mission of evangelization.
Program:
RCIA sessions are held once a week on Sunday mornings, from November through May. An RCIA calendar with the full year of sessions and special events is provided to participants at their first session.
Contacts:
For more information regarding the RCIA program at our parish, please contact Deacon Dave Collins and Marge Collins at 973-884-0258 or email: dvcollie@optonline.net or garitam@optonline.net
Our Ministry Needs Parish Support!

Helping out with RCIA is an amazing way to renew your own faith as you journey through the process of helping others. If you would like to learn more about how you can support this vital ministry, please contact Dave and Marge Collins for more information.
