Our Mission:
The Marriage Ministry at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel is committed to strengthening the bonds of our married couples and to helping them build and nurture faith-filled marriages and families rooted in Christ and His truths. Through prayer and through special ministry events, we encourage the married couples of our parish to deepen and enhance the presence of Christ in their marriages, their families and their home life.
Ministry Events:
We offer the following marriage enrichment opportunities to our parish family:
Evenings of Marriage Renewal
Our ministry offers six Evenings of Marriage Renewal events throughout the year. These are evening gatherings, from 7:30PM - 9:00PM at one of our ministry members' homes, where couples find a relaxing and faith-filled atmosphere to work on renewing and revitalizing their marriage. For a couple of hours, participants learn and practice concepts that will form stepping stones for their marriage. It is dedicated time to experience one another in a new and dynamic way. Couples participating will get away from cares, work, family, long hours, and juggled schedules that get in the way of their time to be a couple. It is also a fun opportunity to get together with others of shared faith and values.
