Our Mission:

Christ's Helpers is a ministry for the service and benefit of low-income families, families who have fallen on hard times, as well as elderly residents, in our own parish family and our community. Religious affiliation is not a consideration for providing assistance.

We help our brothers and sisters in need by performing non-routine yard work and home repairs such as patching sheetrook or repairing damaged tiles.

Within the Parish, the group assists in setting up for Cornerstone, decorating for holy days, and landscaping the parish grounds.

For those who are not in financial need, Christ Helpers maintains a list of trustworthy home repair professionals.

There are about 20-25 of us, parishioner volunteers who currently serving in the Christ’s Helpers Ministry. A few of us are professionals; some are novices, and most handy homeowners.

Interested in being a Christ Helper?

We always welcome new members. Helpful skills include knowledge of basic home repair, ability to handle a variety of tools, or simply willingness to learn. Approximate time commitment involves being "on call" 2–3 months a year, or as needed. For more information please contact:
