Isaiah the prophet describes God's servant as the true lamb being led to the slaughter. The suffering and hardship of the Lamb of God are the means of our redemption. Jesus reminds us once again that faith and love are really what matter in life St. John reminds us: "Greater love than that no man has, than he lay down his life for a friend".
