The letters of St. John always urge us on to goodness and thoughtfulness with the repeated phrase: "Little children, love one another." The most precious gift that St. John spurred on for his spiritual children was faith. Faith is freely given, we need only accept it humbly and gratefully. He has faith in us; we must deepen our faith in each other.
